Supermarket Cashier

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Supermarket Cashier to process customer transactions accurately and provide efficient service at the checkout. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling payments and assisting customers in a busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process cash, card, and digital payment transactions
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
• Scan products and issue receipts
• Process returns and exchanges according to company procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist customers with basic inquiries

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred
